27 May: the director of ‘Emilia Perez’ says that he knew Selena for her roles in ‘Spring Breakers’ & ‘A Rainy Day in New York’

Jacques Audiard, the director of ‘Emilia Perez’, says that he was impressed by Selena Gomez, as he knew her for her roles in the iconic ‘Spring Breakers’ & ‘A Rainy Day in New York. He also says that he was completely unaware of Selena Gomez’s popularity, as her fame was never played a thing in her casting in Emilia Perez.
