22 January: musical crime comedy “Emilia Perez” starring Selena Gomez will start shooting this April in Paris

Variety reports that highly anticipated musical crime comedy, “Emilia Perez,” directed by Jacques Audiard will start shooting in the spring with Selena Gomez, Karla Sofia Gascón & Zoe Saldaña.

Variety has learned that filming was delayed by six months due to some scheduling conflicts with cast members and is now slated to begin in April.

“Emilia Perez” was previously set to shoot in Mexico but will now be filming in a studio near Paris, as per Audiard’s wish.
