1 October: Selena is set to star in Spanish language movie “Emilia Pérez”

Selena is set to star along with Karla Sofía Gascón in the Spanish language movie called – “Emilia Pérez” from French director Jacques Audiard!

In the story, a lawyer receives an offer: help the feared head of a cartel in Mexico to withdraw from his business and disappear forever, becoming the woman he always dreamed of being.

Filming starts in the beginning of 2023 in Mexico.

“Filming was delayed for the beginning of 2023. I was in Paris with Zoe Saldaña and Jac, rehearsing, I arrived in Madrid, because Zoe and Selena had a schedule that did not fit. Suddenly they called me from MasterChef and I accepted. However, I will be traveling to Paris, because it is a very complicated film and we have to rehearse many things before we start filming here in Mexico, because it will also be in Spanish.” – says Karla Sofía Gascón in an interview.
