@iisuperwomanii: Throwback to a few weeks ago when I met this sweetheart @selenagomez. I wanted to wait a little bit before I posted something sentimental because I was curious to see how Sel’s energy would affect me after I was done fangirling. And here is what I’ve discovered: meeting people you gain inspiration from is so powerful but it’s even more life changing when the person is in fact everything you hope for them to be off camera. Selena is just that. I don’t remember everything she said or did but I definitely remember how she made me feel. Not once did she treat me like any less of a person or make me feel nervous about shooting together. She was warm, welcoming and extremely down to earth. More than anything, what struck me is her desire to unapologetically be herself. I just performed in Trinidad and Tobago for my 31st show of my world tour and I can genuinely say meeting people like Selena make me better at my job. It reminds me how important it is to be a kind and genuine person because it does make a huge difference. I can only hope I make people feel that same way. That’s all. I’m done.
