5 May in the new interview with Variety Selena revealed that she and her whole family is vaccinated

In the recent interview with Variety, taken on the red carpet of “Global Citizen’s #VaxLive: Concert To Reunite the World”, Selena said that she’s had to talk to some friends and family about getting vaccinated:

“It’s actually a great conversation starter. I don’t ever pressure people because that’s just not my thing, but to be honest, it was wonderful to be able to have that conversation with my family. We’re all able to discuss it openly and freely and I think it helped. I think it helped my family understand. That’s all I could ask for. I have it and my family has it and honestly it’s been really great experience for all of us.” – Selena

“I think at this point I’ve established my opinions pretty well,” Selena said, when asked if she was nervous about taking on heads of state. “I think it’s my way in using my platform the way that I should be. I truly believe in the vaccine.” – Selena

And Selena can’t wait for more live entertainment to return to stadiums like SoFi. “I got a little emotional walking into the stadium,” Gomez said, adding, “It was a surreal moment. This is where our world could go. This is what we want the world to look like.” – Selena
