“Rare Beauty queen Selena Gomez joined the ranks of blonde bombshells” – says Elle Magazine about Selena in the new “via email” interview with the co owners of Selena’s fav beauty place “Nine Zero One Salon”, Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, in which they opened up about Selena’s new hair style and how they did it.

“This blonde is unique to [Selena], as we had to make sure there was an equal balance of cool and warm for her skin tone,” the duo said over email. “It’s an edgier look and perfect for summer.”

“She typically keeps it pretty natural, but this time she went for a big change,” her hair stylists said. They kept her roots her natural shade, which both adds edge to the look and makes the grow out process easier for anybody who has a darker hair naturally.

It took more than eight hours and over 200 foils to lift her dark brown hair more than seven levels to a bright blonde.
