During the recent press event at “Television Critics Association”, Selena presented her new Hulu series “Only Murders In The Building” and answered some questions from online audience!

“I had no idea who they were. I’m kidding. I was so excited. I was very nervous to be honest because I didn’t know what to expect. Because sometimes, I find that comedy people can be a little bit distant, so I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. They are like my two crazy uncles I sing rap songs to.” – Selena about working with Steve Martin and Martin Short.

“How they lead a set is so commendable. They are so humble and kind, and they are there to the very end. They have set such an example for me. They have been doing this longer than I have been alive. I would be so lucky to have a career that long. They have a sense of humor that doesn’t exist anymore in a way. I love they have a sense of humor that’s not the typical, crass & dark. It’s very light. For me, that’s something I really appreciated. Plus, I’m just so lucky. I just sit down and laugh all day. But I have to be honest, I don’t know if I’m a good actor. I just do my job, and hope I can live up to these incredible people.” – Selena about Steve Martin and Martin Short.

“I signed my life away to Disney at a very young age. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing. The level of sophistication of the material is the reason why I wanted to do this. I was a kid. I didn’t know I was doing. I was just running around on set, and now I just feel like a sponge. I soak up all the wisdom that I can. It’s nice to be back on TV, and it’s really nice to be casted as my actual age, which never happens.” – Selena about her teen days on Disney and returning on TV with OMITB.

“At first I was super paranoid, I got an infamous photo from set. I actually was worried for a second but because there was so much going on, I knew that what people were going to see isn’t exactly the ending of anything.” – Selena about the paparazzi leaks from set of Only Murders In The Building.
